The data we collect
Only the information you enter in the reservation request form: last name, first name, email address, phone number, mailing address, preferred accommodations, dates, number of travelers, and your message. We do not create any customer accounts or collect any banking information on the website.
Why We Use Them
To respond to your request, send you a travel proposal, and, if you make a reservation, draw up the rental agreement. Legal basis: precontractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).
Who has access to it?
Only the owner of the vacation rentals. The form is sent via email; the website is hosted by OVH in France, and the email service is provided by Microsoft (Outlook/Hotmail). Your data is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes.
How long do we keep them?
Three years after our last correspondence if no stay has been booked; for a booked stay, the legally required retention period for accounting records (ten years).
Spam Protection
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical browsing data to distinguish between humans and bots, without using advertising cookies.
Cookies and Third-Party Content
This site does not set any audience tracking or advertising cookies. Some pages display third-party content (Google Maps, Instagram posts) that may set their own cookies when you view them.
Your Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your data; object to its processing; or request its portability by writing to contact@reunion-gites.com. In the event of a dispute, you may file a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
